These cute little cabins live on Burning River Farm in northwestern Wisconsin. BRF provides organic vegetables to its 200 CSA members, Twin Cities farmers markets, and restaurants that demand the best ingredients. The farm is a busy place in the summer and the interns who work there are lucky to be housed in these cabins which were designed to look like chicken coops. In an effort to reuse and use local the timbers that support the structures are local aspen, the siding is honest-to-goodness old-growth redwood that was salvaged from a local building demolition, the beautiful screen doors are salvaged, and the porch railings are rusty water pipe that was found in various piles around the old farmstead.
